I vividly remember when I first read about Ketogenic diet , I was so skeptical that It’s probably a scam but results don’t lie , right?
The way keto works is very simple , you lower the intake of carbs in your meal and just replace them with fats to produce energy.
It’s just like switching a button from the carbs mode to fat mode in which you burn fat 24/7 and this state is called ketosis.
But that’s not what we are here for right now , today I am going all in about this amazing recipe Paleo Beef and broccoli stir fry which is also Low Carb.
Now you must be kidding me if you say you haven’t tried this holy flavor filled dish.
This healthy and keto friendly beef and broccoli stir fry just takes 20 minutes to make while serving 4 people .
The thinly sliced beef strips and healthy broccoli florets when combine with the yummy sauce which includes oyster, Red boat fish sauce and sesame oil , it is a pleasure one can’t deny and the fact that it is keto friendly just makes this paleo beef and broccoli recipe a must try .
So without wasting any time let’s dig in.
Paleo Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
- 1 1/2 lbs thinly sliced beef strips
- 1 lb broccoli , break into florets
- 6 oz thinly sliced mushrooms
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes , crushed
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup red boat fish sauce
Mix Beef broth , sesame oil , ginger , oyster sauce , fish sauce , red pepper flakes and garlic in a Bowl .
Combine Thin beef strips into the mixture and marinate over an hour.
Heat a wok on a high heat , add olive oil , once hot add broccoli and stir fry for 2 mins.
Add the marinated beef strips and cook for 2 mins then add left over sauce and mushrooms and cook until beef is done.
