Keto Crack Chicken – Easy Rotisserie Chicken Recipe

Keto Crack Chicken – Easy Rotisserie Chicken Recipe

When it comes to having a simple week dinner, this Crack Chicken is a banger. It is an easy make ahead dish that tastes amazing and is ready when you are.

What exactly is Keto Crack chicken and how it became popular ?

Crack Chicken is a shredded keto chicken recipe that is so good, it is addicting, like crack. So now you know how it got it’s name.

It is popular because the taste is amazing! The chicken breast is cooked, in the slow cooker for this recipe, with cream cheese, a small amount of vinegar, a variety of seasoning, and topped with cheddar cheese. It that doesn’t get your mouth watering, then nothing will.

Why Use a Crockpot ?

I like to make Keto Crack Chicken in the Slow Cooker. It saves time and brings the ingredients together perfectly. It also makes it very easy to get the chicken so tender that is basically falls apart when it comes time to shred the chicken.

How Is this Cheap and Budget Friendly ?

When people think about keto, many people think that it can not be budget friendly. While buying a lot of proteins like meat, the cost of groceries can be more expensive. However, this simple chicken recipe does not have to expensive.

The best way to save money when making this Crack Chicken is to wait until the chicken breast is on sale. When the chicken breast is on sale, around $1.99 lb or less, stock up. This way you have chicken in the freezer when you are craving keto chicken crack.

Another option for making this recipe cheap is to buy the bags of frozen chicken. Located in the freezer section of most grocery stores and these chicken breasts are usually a cheaper price than freezer chicken.

How to Serve Keto Crack Chicken ?

After the keto crack chicken is ready, you can serve it as is on a plate, use it as a dip or eat it as a sandwich. When using it as a sandwich, enjoy it on keto friendly bread, on a low carb tortilla or on a lettuce wrap. No matter how you serve this chicken crack, one thing is for certain, you will be addicted. You will make this recipe over and over again.

Other ways you can make this recipe :

While I enjoy making this keto chicken crack in the crockpot, it can be made other ways as well.

• Use Rotisserie Chicken

Using rotisserie chicken takes the cooking time out of this recipe. Since the chicken is already cooked, simply shred it and combine it with the ingredients for the sauce.

• Make it in the Oven as a Casserole

You can also cook the chicken in a casserole dish with the sauce ingredients. The cooking time is more hands on with this method, but it is helpful when you are in a hurry or forgot to set the crockpot, you can make it in the oven and then shred the chicken as you would in the keto crockpot recipe.

Sounds good and easy to make. I see water in the recipe but it's not mentioned in the instructions. When do you add the ½ cup water?
