Did you know water plays a huge role in weight loss if consumed in a substantial quantity through out the day because it eliminates fat cells from your body which results in calorie deficit.
Hence when zero calorie foods are infused with water, it not only aids in weight loss but also in detoxification of your body.
1. Slim Down Detox Water :
This All in one detox water recipe is loaded with great amount of Vitamin C, citrus, sweetening chunks of cucumber and grapefruit which makes this recipe naturally sweet yet a healthy one.
- ½ gallon purified water
- ½ lemon, sliced
- ½ lime, sliced
- ½ grapefruit, sliced
- 1 cup cucumber, sliced
2. Pomegranate and Mint Detox Water :
Pomegranate is a nutrition powerhouse because of its countless and amazing benefits like prevention from major diseases like Cancer, Alzheimer’s, and arthritis and if this wasn’t enough it also improves your memory and enhances your sports and athletic performance.
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds,
- 10 mint leaves
3. Classic Cucumber Water :
It’s no secret that Cucumber detox water is one of the first detox water recipes ever and it is almost everyone’s favorite.
Cucumber is filled with various vitamins, flavonoids that keeps you hydrated. It is also great for your muscles and skin as it contains Vitamin B-5, lowers blood pressure and transfer calcium to your bones.
- 1 medium cucumber, peeled (or unpeeled depending on your preference) and cut into 1/2 inch slices.
4. Strawberry Detox Water :
Strawberries are quite popular for being used as a detox water ingredient.
Since Strawberries are known for being a great metabolism booster which proves to be very helpful in burning fat and losing weight plus you can find frozen strawberries any time of the year.
5. Lemon and Ginger :
Now Lemon and Ginger detox drink is already quite a famous remedy for controlling Cholesterol, weight loss and anti-inflammation.
Ginger is a great natural fat burner it even helps you lose your excess belly fat.
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 2 inch knob of ginger root
6. Lemon Lime and Cucumber Detox Water :
Lemon and Lime contain many nutrients like Vitamin C and citrus effect which not only cleans your kidneys but also helps prevent bloating.
And Cucumber doesn’t need any introduction as we discussed earlier how it can be beneficial.
- 1 cup sliced cucumber
- 2 each lemons sliced
- 10-15 mint leaves
7. Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Drink :
The reason Apple cider vinegar has been a center of attraction in the weight loss world is because of the numerous benefits it contains like it fights harmful bacteria in your body, lowers blood sugar levels and fights diabetes .
- 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 lime
- 1 lemon
- 5-6 mint leaves
8. Green Tea and Lemon :
The health benefits of green tea are no secret, it is well-known to help lose weight and burn fat and when combined with lemon juice it becomes more effective for those who want to cut down the weight.
- 1 green tea bag
- 1/4th lemon
How To Prepare :
- Boil a cup of water and put a green tea bag in it.
- Add the juice of the lemon.
- Drink it while it is still hot.
9. Lemon and Raspberry Detox Water :
Lemons and Raspberries are both great sources of strong anti-oxidants like Vitamin C and gallic acid which fights diseases like cancer and heart disease.
Raspberries are also great for the skin as it protects your skin from harmful UV rays which can cause wrinkles.
- 1/2 lemon (sliced) and 8 raspberries.
10. Watermelon , Strawberries & Mint :
This delicious detox water recipe is filled with nutrition and has various benefits like lowering blood pressure and improved insulin levels.
- 4 cups watermelon in /2 inch cubes, lightly mashed
- 1/2 pint strawberries, sliced in half
- 6 sprigs of mint (lightly crushed)
11. Day Spa Apple Cinnamon Detox Water :
- 1 Apple thinly sliced, I like Fuji but pick your favorite. Cut away the seeds.
- 1 Cinnamon Stick. I don’t recommend using powdered cinnamon, it clogs the water.

- 2 Mandarin Oranges, cut into wedges
- Handful of blueberries
15. Pear Berry Detox Water :
- Put cutted pears, a few berries (raspberries, blueberries) and some lime slices in large 2-quart pitcher. Fill it up with “aqua” and let it sit for an hour.
16. Mango infused Water
- Peal one mango and cut it in small pieces.
- Grate one small ginger knob with a zester. Place both ingredients in a 2-quart glass carafe and fill it up with water.
- For more freshness add some ice cubes.
